As the country advocates the economy society, now the old NC(numerical control)lathe which was existed unused will be made into a new high-efficiency and multi-economic lathe , this is not only a good way to make an inventory of stock funds, but also an effective way to realize the automation in a low-cost, at present many mechanical schools try their best to reequip their old NC lathe to meet their student's needs. This research topic, taking the teaching experiment as it's background, based on FEM(finite element analysis)software ANSYS 8.2 , which will give a strain and modal analysis and optimization on the box body and the lathe bed structure of the teaching CK6136 NC lathe。In the history, the design often depended on the experience or the project example, which will give a result: the oversized safety coefficient, unwieldy, materials waste and it's difficult to optimize design, according to the old data, in our country, there are only a few analysis and optimization about the box body and lathe bed, and they havn't formed a set of theories and method。Therefore, the main content on this topic is using FEM and the optimized technology to cause the structure to be more reasonable with the premise of the structure safe, which will ensure adequate structural strength, rigidity and stability to save the material and reduce the product cost. Then we will establish a kind of FEM to be suitable for the box body structure; research and analyze the discussion result;through the modal analysis of the lathe body structure and the box body, we will explore to enhance their structure dynamic characteristics。We will unify FEM and the optimized technology to overcome the difficulty in the optimized design; using mechanical profession function formidable PRO/E graph software, embarking from the project application angle, we will develop a set of practical and high effective structure optimization design method。At last, we will improve the CK6136 NC lathe weight as well as the dynamic characteristics with these methods, to meets the needs of practice teaching in the school。...
