This paper mainly to discuss a testing method for measuring inertia of un-coiler, and designed the automatic examination equipment according to the method at the first step. Improved the degree of automatic measurement, and meliorated the working condition, which calculated by manpower before.The main task in this paper is as follows: Firstly, the measuring principle of the inertia of rotational is explained in detail, then united the drive parts of un-coiler, suggested the measurement scheme, and a feasible elimination method of plus torque is introduced, finally explained the choosing of the component which to be used. Secondly, the process of hardware design is designed in detail. The data collections, the communication between the host and target are realized by the hardware circuit, and the core of the hardware circuit is ADμC812 single clip. Then the anti-jamming measures of the hardware are explained. Thirdly, the process of software design is introduced. The whole software is made up of the host and the target software. Then each modules of the software is studied. At last, the anti-jamming measure of the software is discussed briefly. Fourthly, the data and error of the experiments are analyzed, and the conclusion is given.The result demonstrates clearly that the inertia is consistent with the result of theory estimate, and the error of relatively is small. It shows that the method of the measurement is correct. It will offer reliable basis to the further study of the inertia of un-coiler and other heavy-machines for the future.
