This thesis comes from the project development of two series high-end moisturizing products for the company, mainly covering the formulation, process and performance.The product formulation, for the two series "Hydro moisturizing series(HMS)" and "Rose moisturizing series(RMS)", this paper covered the choosing of product type, emulsification system, ingredients such as moisturizing agent, thickener, preservative and fragrance. Manufacture process and quality test were also discussed.The moisturizing effect of "HMS" and "RMS" products was researched and compared with the corresponding blank products. The moisturizing effect of all the products and the corresponding blank products were acquired by comparing the loss of moisture under the standard test conditions. Data show that, on the same conditions, The moisturizing effect of "Hydro Moisturizing Lotion(HML)", "Hydro Moisturizing Cream(HMC)", "Rose moisturizing nourishing Lotion(RMNL) ", "Rose moisturizer Eye cream(RMEC)", "Rose moisturizing cream(RMC) (mixed skin)", "RMC(dry skin)", "Rose moisturizing milk(RMM)" superior to the corresponding blank products. The moisturizing effect of "HMC", "RMC (dry skin)" and the corresponding blank products were acquired through equipment tests. On the same conditions, the moisturizing effect of "HMC" and "RMC (dry skin)" superior to the corresponding blank products. Market investigation findings, 85% testing customers think "HMS "and "RMS" products ranking satisfied and very satisfied, only 40% of the testing customers are satisfied with the control blank products.From these data, "Hydro Moisturizing Series" and "Rose moisturizing Series" products were successful product in terms of aspect, odor, package, and moisturizing effect.
