Study On Solid Waste Classification Management Of China

In the last few years, with the rapid development of social economy and living level, the categories and the amounts of solid wastes are increased rapidly. The contaminated circumstance of solid wastes which caused serious impact on human health and environment, had taken place repeatedly. Solid wastes management has been focused on all over the world.The classification of solid wastes contributes to the management of solid wastes. The establishment of the scientific and logical category of solid wastes is very important to the management of wastes, such as information publishing of large and middle-sized cities, discharge reporting and registening of industry solid wastes, environmental statistics, pollution source census etc. And also it makes the responsibility of management department clearly.On the basis of knowing the present situation of classification of solid wastes in Japan, U.S.A, Europe and Russis by consulting large numbers of information, the dissertation analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of waste classification in each country. Through the comparison and analysis with the present situation of China, the problems existent of classification in solid wastes are summarized. With the advanced experience of foreign countries in solid waste classification, this dissertation establishes the frame of categories of solid wastes which is based on the national industries classification. The code of solid wastes is accessory in the category system. The research of this dissertation makes a good sense for national wastes classification, and provides theory basis and references for perfecting solid wastes management system.
