The characteristic of figuration grinding is that the grinding wheel being trimmed to the shape is anatomized with the outline of workpiece, It is finishing process machinery manufacturing methods, Particular to the types of complex shape forming surface rotary part.Forming grinding wheel's shape and dimensional accuracy affect the workpiece process quality directly.Therefore, to enhance the effect of forming grinding, the problem of grinding wheel dressing must be solved firstly.Conventional wheel dressing metheds are very difficult to meet the high precision and efficiency of wheel shaping requirements.In this issue, to achieve flexible high-precision modification,grindingwheel modification techniques, reconstructionand numerical control technology are combined,the generatrix-grinding wheel can be modificated through NC program,thus the grindwheel shaping problem can be solved.On the basis of understanding the working principle of grinding wheel dressing machine and the performance of PMAC,In this issue,the main features of rotary part is analyzed, the grinding wheel dressing machine hardware system structure and characteristics of PMAC programming are studied,On this basis, using modular and object-oriented design ideas,CNC grinding wheel dressing software based on rotary part feature is designed and developed, The results are as follows:(1) Study the programming instructions and grammar of PMAC motion controller,In Windows application platform, using VsualC++6.0 as development language and the dynamic link library Pcomm32.d11 combining, design and develop the grinding wheel dressing machine CNC software,It can realize the settings of grindingwheel dressing machine, including coordinate systems choice and setting and manual debug two parts.(2) Study grinding wheel Parametric reverse reconstruction, through the reconstruction technology, Establish the reverse parametric design method of generating grindingwheel generatrix parameter through the prototype surface.Surface reconstruction of forming wheel is designed, realizing the function of generating NC programby the workpiece parameters directly, throughNC program,the grinding wheel is modificated.(3) Study parametric setting and database using,Develop grinding wheel parameter reconstruction software package, create workpiece database model,Users can realize the purpose of grinding wheel reconstruction by calling the model parameters in the database to improve efficiency of grinding wheel dressing.Open CNC system based on PC is the inevitable trend of development of NC technology. CNC system in the base of PC and the core of PMAC has unique performance.The modular structure software in this issue has friendly interface, portable, and can be further expanded.Experiments show that the software system goes well.
