Datong Jinhuagong National Mine Park Coal Waste Landscape Design

China has rich mineral resources and a long mining history. Mining heritage witnessed the Chinese mining industry development and the economic society development. The mineral resource which is the important guarantee of social sustainable development provides the material foundation for the national economy and social development. However, along with the rapid economical development, the demand of mineral resource is increased dramatically. Environmental Pollution and Ecological issue caused by mineral resource's being developed inappropriately is becoming more and more serious and affects the harmonious society. There are 47 of 426 mines going through restructuring after resource shortage. In order to solve the shortage of resources and environmental pollution, Ministry of Land and Resources announced that in the guidance of Scientific Concept of Development, Mine Park should merge the nature with culture landscape to the unity of ecological, economic, social benefit by environmental updating, ecological recovering and cultural reappearing. (Ministry of Land and Resources [2004] No.256)It's the best solution for environment to build Mine Park by reusing and governing Mine environment. Mine Park just made the first step in China. Therefore, it is urgent to research the planning and designing of Mine Park. This dissertation will study Mine Park and research deeply successful case, then make the empirical analysis of Nanshan Coal Mountain area. Datong Jinhuagong is one of the National Mine Parks which were approved first by Government and is very close to the famous world cultural heritage. Yungang Grottoes, which can form echo. So it will be meaningful to research Mine Park, the Datong Jinhuagong.This dissertation is composed of five parts. Chapter 1 is the introduction which put forward the research background and clarified research scope, summed up relevant literatures at home and abroad, then confirmed dissertation's routine and structure. Chapter 2 clarified some theories and concepts involving this objective. Chapter 3 focused on summing up the developing modes of Gangue at home and abroad and putting forward Gangue designing mode based on ecological recovery. Chapter 4 made an example of Datong Jinhuagong National Mine Park and empirical analysis of it's designing. The last chapter summed up, pointed out the defect and outlook of this dissertation. It will make the Mine Park theory rich and deep and have guidance to practice.
