Researching On Spatial Morphology Evolution Of Resource-based Cluster Cities

Urban spatial morphology refers to the specific shape of a city in space within a certain time; it is confined by factors such as the natural environment, economy, social and cultural development, and it's always in a dynamic process of changes and evolution.As a type of cities, resource-based cities demonstrate primary characteristics of a city and many unique development features. Their spatial morphology also has some specificity and emerges from the layout of "multiple centers and clusters". By the restriction of resource, and the development of urban spatial morphology also affected by its integrated function of politics, history, culture, society, it appears to be unstable. It plays an important role in the direction of the urban space development to analyze its urban spatial morphology.The paper takes Zaozhuang as an example, making a systematic and historical study on the development process of its urban spatial morphology in the past several years, researching and analyzing its urban outer spatial feature, urban internal spatial structure and dynamic system of the spatial evolution in diffident period by using the theory of urban spatial morphology evolution, and summarizes the major factors and forecastes the future development method of Zaozhuang's urban spatial morphology, then summarizes the basic laws of urban spatial morphology evolution in resource-based cluster cities, furthermore the author makes some forecasts about the future spatial development method of resource-based cluster cities. All paper falls into six chapters.The first chapter defines resource-based cities and resource-based cluster cities, and makes sure the object, methodology, significance of this research.The second chapter is the theoretic preparation section, based on existing studies and making a systematic literature review on foreign and domestic studies on researching development of urban morphology and urban spatial morphology.The third chapter makes a review and analysis of history and current situation of Zaozhuang urban spatial morphology development, and analysis its urban social and economic and spatial development condition in different periods, then systematically analyzing and concluding current characteristics of Zaozhuang urban spatial morphology development in different periods.The fourth chapter researches and analyzes Zaozhuang's urban outer spatial feature, urban internal spatial structure in diffident period by using the theory of urban spatial evolution.The fifth chapter summarizes the major factors and dynamic system of Zaozhuang's urban spatial morphology evolution.The sixth chapter is the summery, forecastes the future development method of Zaozhuang's urban spatial morphology and summarizes the basic laws of resource-based cluster cities.
