Research On Courtyard Of Multi-story And High-rise Residential Buildings In South China

Over the past 30 years,the urbanization process has accelerated,the people's living standards has improved,and the per-capita living space for urban residents has increased from 6.7 square meters in 1978 to nearly 30 square meters now,relevant to the problem of the growing scarcity of land in the city and housing shortage with the rapid urban construction. In the meanwhile,the requirement of dwelling construction has gone through from focusing only area to the multi-factors of environment quality and humanities style. So to speak,the residential architecture of our nation is going down a way of delicated development.In order to improve the natural and human residential environment , efficiently use the land resources and take the resource-saving mode of residential development, recent years, it is putting on a "courtyard" hot in south China. The green space and neighborhood relations space is introduced into modern residential buildings, has been widely welcomed by consumers. The main purpose of this article is to present research results at home and abroad, research a large number of outstanding cases, to summarizes the method of different courtyard of multi-story and high-rise residential buildings, and to explore a road on the design of courtyard in air with human feelings of traditional Chinese.Finally, the article briefly introduces some practice on the courtyard in residential building of myself, analyses competitions on "vertical farms" abroad in recent years, to outlook the trends of courtyard in multi-story and high-rise residential buildings.
