| In recent years, China carried out a large-scale railway construction among which railway construction supervision played an important role. They are the bridge between the construction units and building units, and act on behalf of the owners'effective supervision and control of the progress, quality, and safety of the project. Supervision management information is of significance to strengthen the railway construction project management.This paper's main job is to use internet of things, GIS technology and the "wisdom of the Earth " idea for reference, and apply it in the research of supervision management information system of railway construction. Firstly, the author analyzes the actuality research of supervision management information at home and abroad and proposes problems in supervision management. And then, analyzes business requirements and data needs of the supervision management of railway construction project. Also, studies the supervision management data's classification methods, collection methods and coding methods. Third, based on the GIS technology this paper establishes the incidence relation between supervisory position data and progress control, quality control, and safety control and supervision evaluation. And combined with standardized management requirements for railway construction, forms a supervision tracking, assessment and evaluation model which based on location information for supporting the decision of supervision evaluation. Finally, combined with business requirements of on-site supervision management, completes the system design and apply the related research results to the Lan-xin railway construction project in the second double lane. The on-site experience has shown that the supervision system promotes the standardization of the supervision management of the railway construction project, and plays an active role in implementing schedule control, quality control, safety control, etc. of project management.
