The modern medicine entered a new level of psychology sociological medicine pattern. It even more pays great attention to the environment and the psychology influence over the patients. Along with this pattern development, the people start to pay attention to the patient psychology treatment, and build a good overall medicine environment from various aspects for the patient.The emergency department undertakes the organization of the community casualty caused by the social accidents, and the important part of the emergency work. It is also the General hospital's important service window. The users'psychology and the behavior are certain particularity. The original emergency medical treatment's department design pattern and the spatial arrangement already by far could not meet present's need. In view of this, this article takes the space and environment of General hospital's emergency department for a research subject based on the users'behavior and psychology.This article utilizes the correlation theories of the Environmental psychology, and studies the space perception, the behavior characteristic, the psychological demand and the appraisal of its spatial user's (sickness and accompanying family member) according to investigation of typical hospital emergency department space. Explore relations of behavior and psychological and the space environment. At the same time, summarizes their behavior and psychology demand of the space environment, and also discovery design deficiency. Unifing the domestic and foreign outstanding cases, propose the adaptation modern General hospital emergency department's needs of development, which can manifest "humanist" in the characteristic design strategy. It has certain theory significance and the real value to the pattern of the future emergency department's space and environment.
