With the increase in the demand for medical services and the development of its service system, the design theory of the hospital emergency department has gradually begun. However, the lack of zoning in the emergency building, streamlined circuitous, and noisy environments frequently occur. Therefore,in order to adapt to the basic situation of the large number of population in China, the article aims to optimize the design of large-scale top-three hospital emergency department buildings.Firstly, the development of large-scale hospitals in our country and the development status of the emergency department are the research background of this article. The article first combed the research of relevance theory from architecture and evidence-based medicine. On this basis, the research questions and assumptions of the article are presented. The main concern is the architectural and environmental design of the emergency department of large-scale hospitals in China, such as overall planning, functional plane, physical environment, and spatial details. It is assumed that the overall planning of the hospital's campus and the internal functional division of the building are clear and reasonable, and the traffic flow is convenient. For example, the flow of ambulances outside the hospital area is smooth, the turning point is less, and the distance between the traffic flow lines is based on the site design. With the shortest distance, the length of patient flow line and the streamlines of the patient streamliness are appropriate and there are few crossovers. The waiting time for visiting patients and their accompanying staff is shortened, and the efficiency of emergency treatment centers in hospitals will increase. If waiting room and infusion room environment are healed, the patient's nervous or repressed state of mind will be reassured. The physical environment such as sound decibels, light coefficient, etc.meets the needs of emergency medical services, with adequate indoor lighting and noise.Low,indoor colors and other details of the design of the higher comfort, the introduction of green plants,or the indoor window layout more potted plants,it will make the patient quiet and peaceful, relax home,in order to achieve the effect of the second cure.Based on theoretical research, field research and analysis were conducted to investigate the emergency department of nine large-scale top-three hospitals in seven cities across the country.Through on-the-spot investigations, they summarized the construction of the hospital's layout, function space, internal streamlines, and medical environment. At the same time, the patient waiting for consultation and his accompanying family members were observed and statistically analyzed.Based on people-centered analysis, the needs of patients and their families accompanied by emergency room space were analyzed and summarized.
