The Exterior Space Design Exploration Of The Public Rental Housing In Mountainous City Based On Typology

Along with China's housing security system to continue to progress and improve, low-rent housing, affordable housing and other affordable housing have a great development under the guidance of national policy. To some extent, it alleviates the housing problems of urban low-income people. However, lots of problems still continue to exist in the building amount, demand, and user of affordable housing. It also shows the problem of imbalance in development and construction, and incomplete in attention for vulnerable group. In particular, it ignores these people such as the new generation urban residents, university graduates and migrant workers, whose income is limited and who can not afford the purchase price of ordinary commercial housing even rental price in the short term, and do not meet the eligibility criteria of low-rent housing, affordable housing and so on. That let them to become the "sandwich class" group in urban population. To solve the "sandwich class"people housing problem as much as possible, the government proposes to speed up the construction of the Public Rental Housing (PRH) , and begins to concern about the impact of the large Public Rental Housing (PRH) on urban space and the living environment. Construction of the Public Rental Housing (PRH) in the natural background of mountains and mountain city needs to sum up experience. In the construction process, the Public Rental Housing (PRH) needs to pay attention to relationship between exterior space, urban space, mountain space and behavior space. It also needs to avoid the problems for the inefficient space, low-quality space and lack of geographical features etc.Based on the above, the object of this research is Public Rental Housing(PRH)in mountainous city, the new affordable housing. This article summarizes the archetype and the composite system of exterior space material and immaterial of the Public Rental Housing(PRH)in mountainous city and finds conversion way of that in the new environment by using architectural typology's theory and method. Mean while, this article explores the space potentiality economically, creates space quality, and puts into practice research process. Besides, it explores one way that combines typology research methods and design of exterior space in Public Rental Housing(PRH)in mountainous city. And it strives to create a set of economic, practical and comfortable as one exterior space design system of the Public Rental Housing(PRH)in mountainous city .According to the research methods of architectural typology, this article is divided into the following five parts:First, this article explains interpretation of topics and related concepts, and describes properties of the exterior space and problems that may arise oriented in Public Rental Housing(PRH)in mountainous city. And it proposes a new concept which uses view of architectural typology design to research exterior space of the Public Rental Housing(PRH)in mountainous city.Second, this article describes the exterior space system characteristics and limited factors which belong to Public Rental Housing(PRH)in mountainous city, and analyzes the possibilities and advantages of the introduction of the architectural typology. And it proposes exterior space of the Public Rental Housing(PRH)in mountainous city design principium and steps which based on architectural typology theory and method. It provides the basis for the next research.Third, through the sampling instance, this article extracts and summarizes the material and nonmaterial archetype elements in the exterior space of the Public Rental Housing(PRH)in mountainous city, and analyzes internal features. And it builds archetype table of the exterior space design of Public Rental Housing(PRH)in mountainous city, and provides content and basis for the next step's archetype selection and combination research.Fourth, based on archetype table, this article analyzes and summarizes combination system of the exterior space archetype of the Public Rental Housing(PRH)in mountainous city from the material aspects of urban, overall settlements and groups settlements and nonmaterial aspects of social and cultural levels. It also determines the combination basic discipline of exterior space in the different natural and social environment from the research for affordable housing and common commercial housing case in Hong Kong, Singapore, Shanghai, Chongqing and Shenzhen area. It provides selection content of the archetype and combined system for the further research. Finally, using architectural typology theories and methods, this article explores the conversion mode of archetype and its combined system in every level of material and nonmaterial exterior space of Public Rental Housing(PRH)in mountainous city. In addition, it let this research methods apply into the design practice, in order to describing practical design and verifying exterior space design of the Public Rental Housing(PRH)in mountainous city based on architectural typology.This article starts from the logical relationship of the architectural typology design method, and provides an idea and a new way for exterior space design of Public Rental Housing(PRH)in mountainous city. It wants to find relatively timeless design principles and tenet related to architectural typology concept and exterior space design of the Public Rental Housing(PRH)in mountainous city.
