A Study On The Strategy And Planning Of Developing Modern Logistics Center In Railway Traditional Freight Station

To bring into full play the backbone position of railway in modern transportation system, widely to attract regional supply, expansion of the rail in the social freight market share, promote regional economic and social development, will be the main railway terminal freight station expanded into a regional logistics center, is the inevitable trend of railway development to realize modernization, marketization. This paper will address the specific characteristics of the BaoTou Railway Station, the use of the existing research results and theoretical knowledge, the station expanded into a modern logistics center is discussed.This article first carries on the analysis to the existing achievements of the development of domestic and international logistics center to the railway freight station research, the difference and connection between the railway freight station and logistics center from the start, pointed out the necessity and advantages and disadvantages of the transition to the logistics center of railway freight station.
