Research On Highway Network Adaptability In Hebei Province

In this paper, an objective evaluation of economy development of Hebei Province was made, and the community economy development in the near future was analysed. Furthermore, programming points of the modernization of community economy until the middle period of this century was processed. All of these make a foundation of analysis of highway network adaptability in Hebei province. At the same time, commonly index of highway network adaptability evaluation was given in this thesis. On the basis of present transportation development evaluation and thorough analysis of traditional evaluation index, overall indexes were studied and then adopted. These integrated indexes can reflect the true condition of regional network condition more roundly than traditional ones, but they are not reasonable in the description of network distribution. Therefore, fractal dimension - fractal- based evaluation index - was applied in this paper. It has great significance in the evaluation of network adaptability as well as distribution of network uniformity. Partition of road construction phases and the development target of each phase were put forward. Three phases of the transportation modernization in Hebei Province in the new century as well as the compliant network construction phases were advanced. Finally, the capital demand of each construction phase was calculated. Reliable accordance was offered for network development to satisfy economy development further in Hebei Province by the study of network adaptability in this paper.
