The Research Of Multi-storey Residence With Appropriate Freedom

Due to the discrepancy of unsynchronized aging between housing material and the function & equipment, and the variety as well as the changing requirements from the customers, the traditional little-bay residence gradually can't meet the development of the society. The supporting large-bay residence, which can solve the problem, however does not show obvious advantages because it depends too much on high technology. The cost is over high and it gives too much freedom, moreover the construction is complicated and the operation is not easy. To build the totally detachable supporting residential buildings in our country on this stage is not economical. Based on the above reasons, I believe that using intermediate technology to build the residence with appropriate freedom(appropriate changeable) is a feasible solution.Based on the present living and decoration condition, this dissertation surveyed the frequency of space changing, the development trend of the function space, and the availability of acquiring changeable space. The dissertation puts forward that the residence with appropriate freedom could meet the changing requirements on housing and was a feasible residential form. The article analyzed the available supporting part inside the multi-storey residence, which adopted the intermediate technology and had appropriate freedom. From the aspects of economy, resources, family scale, living inclination, international development trend etc., the dissertation brought forward the fact that the well-to-do residence focused on quality instead of large space. This mainstream redounded to the adoption of intermediate technology by the residence with appropriate freedom. Then the layout of the multi-storey residence with appropriate freedom was analyzed and examples of typical layout were shown.Except for the analysis on architecture, the dissertation discussed the advantages and disadvantages of the vertical and horizontal structural system of the multi-storey residence with appropriate freedom. It educed that the three vertical structural systems as confined masonry , concrete cellular block and interior frame, as well as the horizontal systems as normal cast-in-place reinforced concrete floor, laminated slab and waffle slab are the appropriate structural forms which can be used in this kind of residence. Through two design examples that based on technical economy andsocial environment, the comparison between large and little-bay residence demonstrated that the multi-storey residence with appropriate freedom can not only increase the utilization area by 3%, but also decrease the cost a little and gain better social environmental benefits. The large-bay residence is one of the main living forms in China and deserves strong popularization.For the maneuverability of the multi-storey residence with appropriate freedom, the dissertation also discussed on the introduction of module coordination, choosing of the light weight partition board, the structure convenient for pipes and cable installation and removal, the layout of pipe system, the installation and adjustment of equipment, the standardization of interface design etc, and put forward the possible solutions.
