Xuzhou Engineering Machinery Group, Southeast University, Tsinghua University have taken charge of the project of Intelligentized Engineering Machinery Group, of which is National 863 High Tech Plan (2001AA422013). Based on the background, the main objective of this dissertation is to research the kernel technology of interconnection between mobile field bus controller network and wireless communication network, and to bring forward the design scheme, approach, and implementation of the wireless CAN connection and GPS orientation integrated equipment. Firstly, aimed at the limitation of low efficiency and insulation of engineering machinery in traditional construction field, a supervision system based on the interconnection of local field bus controller network and superior enterprise transaction computer network system is proposed, with using the current advanced wireless communication network technology. Secondly, the basic technology of CAN field bus controller network, WLAN communication network, the interconnection between CAN and WLAN, GSM communication network, GPS orientation and embedded system are simply discussed. Thirdly, the design of the architecture of whole engineering machinery group communication system is interpreted, and then the design scheme and approach of the integrated equipment are brought forward. Fourthly, grounded on industrial PC, the integrated equipment's design and implementation are fully presented. In particular, the hardware design of CAN communication adapter card with onboard GPS module, and the card's WDM driver and MPU's control software programming are fulfilled. Then the chapter presents the equipment's locale experiment result.Fifthly, based on embedded system, the integrated equipment's design and implementation are entirely presented. And the design of the circuit board with GSM module, GPS module and power supply module onboard is achieved. Then the chapter presents the equipment's locale experiment result.Finally, an advice of the improvement of the integrated equipment is given, with considering the development of wireless communication network.
