On Tradition Residential Space Renewal In Social Transition

Since 1990s,a series of changes,say,system transformation from central-planned economy to market economy,social structure transition from agricultural society to industrial society,and social structure changes and rapid modernization , The old urban area and tradition residential area face the enormous challenges 。On one hand, the traditional scenes disappear rapidly in large-scale urban reform process; On the other hand, The traditional residences which have not rebuilded are undergoing physically aging and social downfall,and have a trand to holistic downfall. It affect the development of the whole city.The text analyses the changes of social stratification construction .It combines the example research of Quanzhou Jinyu alley conservation and renewal and reveals the rootstock of the downfall of traditional residence .The paper also probes into the appropriate patterns of the conservation and renewal of traditional residence and old urban area.
