The belt transmission performance parameters experiment system was developed with LabVIEW (NI) based on PC platform. It integrated measuring-controlling, data processing, storing, displaying and printing, was used to measure co-relational real-time movement and momentum parameters during the transmitting, and could make quantitative analysis of its performance.The system synthesized computer's hardware and software knowledge, sensor technology, motor speed regulation technology and automatic control technology. The key of the system was to solve problems of drive wheel auto regulating speed and follower wheel auto loading, speed and torque signal collecting.The belt transmission is driven by DC motor, and loaded by magnetic powder brake in the experiment system, where an economic method was used to measure rotating speed and torque. This method works well. It adopted PWM to control the speed of DC motor, and realized floating speed regulation with PID included in the LabVIEW tool box. So it could load steplessly.The experiment showed that the slippage rate and the transmission efficiency curve can be measured and drawn accurately with this system, and it met the expectant requirement.
