The study centralizes the enhancement of reliability of load point in distribution network. Anddiscuss at subject of reliability of distribution system at Erdos. Firstly, the article brieflyreviewed the history of the assessment technology of power distribution network, and laystress on the defects of the resent methods. New method of reliability assessment based on theminimal path method and equivalent approach is proposed for complicated distributionsystem. The level of power supply reliability at Erdos is evaluated by this method. Theoutputs of assessment with experience of operation are used to develop some improving planfor distribution system reliability at Erdos.After that, the improving plans are checked carefully by the angle of economic viewer, anddefinite criterions are given in paper. The reasons of comparison and selection are explainedcarefully. By the end of paper, based on the result of comparison of improving plans andauthor's experience, some proposition for reliability improvements of distribution system atErdos are given. The result of digital simulation and evaluation of model based on realnetwork at Erdos are used to assess the reliability. The sample test shows that new method iseffective and accurate. The optimal one of improving plans for local network is shown afterthe use of economical criterions.
