With the speeding development of computer science ,electronics, network technology and communication technology , transformer substation comprehensive automation system which integrated all kinds of techniques above also has been developed so rapidly. Owing to great varieties of venders and all sorts of different hardware , the functions of transformer substation comprehensive automation system have been enriched gradually. Presently, however, the usage of transmitted stipulations of an agreement in domestic transformer substation automation system has been confused. Basically, each vender has not used unified standard, so that devices' communication between different venders is difficult, and that makes great hidden trouble to system maintenance and update. Generally, different hardware which has been developed by different venders adopt different stipulations of an agreement, information can not be shared and integrated effectively. The more devices the more complicated system would be, the integration of information will be more difficult, so how to realize information sharing and integration will become an important research task of transformer substation comprehensive automation system.The development of information technique promotes the development of industry automation in China. Chinese power enterprise informationization is developing increasingly in the stratagem of " use informationization to drive industrialization and use the latter to expedite the former". In order to accommodate to the need of this new time, OPC(OLE for process control)—criterion at industry field and supervise control system of substation are researched deeply, on the basis of the present development and its status quo and the development and requirement in power enterprise, aiming at the existent problem of traditional substation comprehensive automation system, the thesis puts forward a case which introduce OPC in the substation supervise control system. Thanks to introduce OPC (OLE for process control), the paper has solved the sharing problem of real time data of different devices, which makes all kinds of devices can acquire real time data in uniform manner andavoids instability of system that derives from different driving program accessing the same device. At the same time, with a view to the development trend of transformer substation comprehensive automation system and its requests of interaction and distribution and the need of information sharing and integration, two system constructions of B/S and C/S were discussed and B/S and C/S complicated substation supervise system which bases on OPC technique was brought forward. OPC sever for secondary devices in substation system, running real time parameters and the running status are supervised through the supervision of the secondary devices. And also it will inform customer if there happened some failure in lest to make great loss. Software realized construction of the system was given. And, aiming at the key part —OPC sever and OPC client, the paper gives concrete design and makes them come true.
