ShoppingMall is complied with the humanist time,this also is a need in the new economical time. The developers must raise the quality of their products in leisure, health and scale, only then has the possibility to display the formidable superiority in the similar commercial property, and brings the new turn of the revolution of commercial development.The design and construction of ShoppingMall in China lag behind some foreign countries, but it is developing quickly,so it is important to study the space environment design of ShoppingMall.The function and service objects of ShoppingMall are complicated and diversified, which make the space environment design of ShoppingMall more complicated than other kind of public architecture. At the same time, the variation of people's life style causes higher expectation for better shopping space environment both in material and spirit.Combined with a large number of practical examples not only in China but also in foreign countries, this thesis studies the space environment design of ShoppingMall. It first introduces the concept as well as the developing history of the ShoppingMall , summarizes the construction and the commercial characteristic of ShoppingMall, then analyzes some essential features of ShoppingMall in our country combined with national condition, elaborates the functional system constitution. It is the key point of this thesis to study the space environment design of ShoppingMall,which involves the transportation streamline organization, the spatial shape and landscape environment.What ShoppingMall advocates is one kind of experience consumption, which pays attention not only to consumer's expensing process, but also to create a warm comfortable shopping environment. This thesis first analyzes the shopping behavior and psychological characteristic of the consumer, then studies the space environment which caters to both the spatial functional need and consumer's spiritual demand. After the functional need being achieved, on one hand , the space environment is studied to make consumers comfortable and convenient,on the other hand , hope to guide consumers, increase consumers' shopping time and stimulate consumption, realize the maximized economic benefits.
