Based on generalizing the research finding of DSP excitation controller, this thesis consummates a new kind of general test control device which is used for medium small scaled synchro generator. This device is centering on 32 bit digital signal processor TMS320LF2812 and achieves the function of excitation control of synchro generator and automatic quasi-synchronizing control besides satisfying the control function of existing DSP excitation controller. The following achievements had been abtained:In this thesis, a kind of new method is put forward, which uses the CPU timer cputimer0 of DSP and delay to give off close pulses with timer in the process of achieving grid-connected. This method converse the differencing of forecasting closing time to count value of CPU timer, enter count value into cycle register, activate CPU timer counter to start cputimer0,and accomplish to give off time delay close pulse through GPIO aditus of DSP conveniently.Another new method is put forward, which uses the CPU timer cputimerO of DSP to test breaker close time before generator grid-connected. After testing, the method can check up whether the breaker's close time is in the allowable variational range, and then offer reference when setting the closing breaker's parameters.Achiving to track system voltage fleetly in course of generator grid-connected by the way of changing generator's terminal voltage specified value. After giving off synchronizing order,the generator can track system voltage frequently through excitation adjusting by changing generator terminal voltage's specified value into systerm voltage measured currently.The course is complished by software totally,and dispensed with the process of traditional Synchronization device giving off voltage sharing pulse.The touch screen human-machine interface of DSP general control device is designed, the achiving course is done that DSP communicate with touch screen each other, the complete duplex communication is done between touch screen and DSP by its asynchronous series communication interface SCI.Static and dynamic tests of the general control device are carried out in the laboratory. The test results indicate that the design idea is advanced and all performance index of this general test control device meet the requirements in GB14285—1993"Technical requirements of relay protection and safty automatic device" and it is worth popularizing.
