| Gongye Section of the Grand Canal in Hongzhou Center lies in the old industrial area of the northern city. The land of the coastwise, being developed for the long history and lived in crowded people, is occupied by the modern industries and the transporting. It has a deep history to organize the types of using the land and their functions. Developing for a half century, the citizen living area is increasing a lot and the industrial area is decreasing gradually. It is possible for the citizen to supply the leisure area because the function of transporting on the Grand Canal is gradually trailed off. On the perspective of the sight redevelopment, it discusses the value and the meaning of rebuilding from the area of the industrial architecture into LOFT Originality and Industry Community in order to fulfilling the vital forces and the continuities development and better protection and success on the canal civilization. |
