The Grand Canal communicates with the North and the South,links the past and the present,promotes material and cultural exchanges,and promotes social and economic development along the line.In 2014,the Grand Canal was successfully listed as a world cultural heritage.The construction of the Grand Canal Cultural Belt was opened.How to protect and utilize the valuable resources of the Grand Canal to achieve regional economic development,ecological governance and cultural heritage has aroused widespread concern in all sectors of society.This study takes the Suzhou section of the Grand Canal Culture Belt as an actual case to discuss the related issues of the development of the Grand Canal Cultural Belt.The main research contents are as follows:Firstly,on the basis of the relevant theories and case studies on the industrial development of the Grand Canal cultural belt at home and abroad,with the "protection,inheritance and utilization" as the leading idea,the value of the resources of the Grand Canal cultural belt is analyzed,and the internal mechanism of resources and industrial development is discussed.It proposes three types of resource utilization methods: “protective,integrated,and innovative”.Secondly,based on the analysis of resource utilization methods,the ideological system of the development of the Grand Canal cultural belt industry is theoretically constructed,and the objectives and principles of industrial development,the industrial development path and the general pattern of industrial space layout are discussed and proposed.Finally,the empirical study is carried out in the Suzhou section of the Grand Canal Cultural Belt.Based on the analysis of the current situation of the industry,the overall goal of the industry is proposed.The planning of the industrial development path under the three resource utilization modes is planned based on the Grand Canal and the specific areas and river sections.The industrial development pattern of “two poles,three sections and multiple cores” was determined.
