The purpose of the paper is to discuss the renovation of residence, based on the theory of sustainable development and ecology, takes root in the reality about the development of residence renovation in China, through the dual angle of view from the corresponding theory of residence renovation and the example inspection, attempts to summarize the residence ecology renovation idiographic direction. And take this as the foundation, expatiates on the problems of the residence renovation and the future development tendency on my individual understandingFirst of all, the paper probes into these two kind of designs tendency from the residence renovation and the ecology idea separately. The first chapter concentrates on the development status of the residence renovation in our country at present, pointed out the variety of the design technique for residence renovation, makes it clear that the residence renovation is necessary. The second chapter analyzes the ecological architecture view, pointed out the theory of the ecological architecture develops constantly along with people's understanding for the ecological environment question, and points out the sense for introducing the ecology viewpoint into the residence renovation at the same time. Discussing the idiographic modes and the technique modes of the residence renovation itself from the microscopic layer and discussing the residence renovation in economizing ground, the renovation of the habitation environment and the development tendency of the residence renovation these three aspects from the macroscopic layer. Then concludes some idiographic design strategy for the renovation of habitation environment and some new about the residence renovation development at present.
