Thanks to speedy development of national economy, automobile and other motor vehicles become more and more popular as the vehicle by which people go out. Correspondingly, the pollutions stemming from traffic circumstance more and more profoundly affect people's daily life and the body and mind health, so this paper, based on the research of other former academic member, researches and develops DSS of the Simulation and Evaluation of Traffic Pollution. The focus of this paper is laid on the Research and Development of System Functional Model, mainly including the five models about three aspects, like Simulation and Evaluation of Traffic Heavy Metal Pollution, Simulation and Evaluation of Traffic Noise Pollution, Simulation and Evaluation of Traffic Exhaust Gas Pollution. On the System Development, this paper takes ARCGIS 9.0 from ESRI as the Development Platform, and adopts the 3D as the form of expressing the simulated result of these models. The first chapter of this paper first introduces the development, framework and development flow of DSS, then address the research on the models about any aspects of Simulation and Evaluation of Traffic Pollution.Requirement Analyze is the precondition and base of System Development. The second chapter of this paper mainly discusses the customer feature, demand of function and data of this System, and so on, afterward puts forward the design thought of this System, providing the entire framework, and clarifying the Simulation Function of this System, Scene Analytical Method. The third chapter of this paper mainly discusses the five functional model of this System: the Model of Simulation and Evaluation of Traffic Heavy Metal Releasing Pollution, the Model of Simulation and Evaluation of Traffic Dust Heavy Metal Pollution, the Model of Simulation and Evaluation of Traffic Noise Pollution, the Model of Simulation and Evaluation of Noise Pollution at the convergence of roadway, and the Model of Simulation and Evaluation of Traffic Exhaust Gas Pollution.System Designation is the most critical point of System Development. The forth Chapter of this paper mainly discusses the detailed Framework Designation of this System, basic principle of Database Designation, then provides the detailed Framework of Database, finally discusses the Designation Method and Technique of Models. The fifth chapter of this paper mainly analyzes the result of Practical Application of this System. By the multiple execution of this System, we achieve the different Simulation Results of different models at different situations, analyzing and discovering:1.There is the tight correlation between the magnitude of Heavy Metal Pollution Concentration and the volume of vehicles, where the magnitude of Heavy Metal Pollution increases as the increasing volume of vehicles with a direct propotional function. When at thesame volume of vehicles, the heavy truck makes the most contribution to the pollution, secondly light truck, finally little passenger car.;2.The peak value of noise is at the ground. Firstly, the Noise increases with the increase of altitude, reaching some extent, then it will reduce with the increase of altitude. The type of road surface, the volume of vehicles and so on only can affect the size of the peak value of Noise, can't affect the altitude where there is the peak value of noise;3.Mini car, midsize car and large car conduct different contribution to the CO and NO_x Pollution. On the contribution of CO Pollution, first is large car, secondly mini car, finally midsize car. However, on the contribution of NO_x Pollution, first is mini car, secondly midsize car, finally large car; There is negative correlation between the degree of stabilization of gas and the speed of gas contamination diffusion. And there is positive correlation between the altitude of efficient emission resource, wind speed and the speed of gas contamination diffusion; At the same circumstance of type and the volume of vehicles, the most important factor to the concentration of pollution is the wind speed, secondly the altitude of efficient emission resource and the degree of stabilization of gas. Finally, this paper summarizes the result of the System Application and the Policy Advice, and points out the disadvantage and the aspect of improvement of this system, looking forward to further improving and perfecting this System.
