The loader is a high efficient equipment for loading scattered articles in modern industry and applied widely for stacking and fetching in harbor, dock, steel works, coal works, electricity plants and so on. The loader could complete stacking and fetching work at the same time. Because of the loader's wide utility and reliability, author applied virtual reality technology into the development of the loader's scene simulation system, in order to deal with design project directly, qucikly, economicly and efficiently, which has a significant utility value in the research development of cement production projects.This thesis, on the object of loader, established the loader's scene simulation application system through model building and simlification, on the platform of collecting broadly the related literature and work, disucssed more deeply about the VR's application in the cement industry, caused the loader obtain a more comprehensive analysis and discussion.The work details are followed:1. Collect contects about virtual reality (VR) and simulation technology, research the basic theory and design methods of VR, learn to grasp some related tools to realize simulation, including the operation and skills about MultiGen Creator and Vega Prime, which prepared for the system's realism.2. On the base of broad research and collection for the loader, get the loader's main structure, process, work principle and scene layout, establish models by ProEngineer and simplify them by Creator, therefore build all models and environment.3. Established application system by utilizing Lynx Prime panel in Vega Prime, realized simple human machine action. On the platform of VC++. realized virtual simulation about the loader's working scene by loading the function in the Vega Prime, resolved some related some key techonologies such as crash, particle system, degree of freedom ans so on. Through the research of virtual simulation for the loader, this thesis established a completed application system. This system could show how the loader worked, assist the designers to do researchment without suffering an environment full of dusty, therefore help designers fininsh the work directly, quickly, economicly and efficiently. More importantly, the system applied virtual reality technology into the cement production and give forward to a possible and scientific method for the cement industry in our country.
