Texture is one of the important model-making factor, what only is the extension part of product to be seeable and touchable. And this part has a distinctive semantics on vision and touch. Texture is becoming to be one of most important and direct object tools with whom customer may have a conversation indirectly. As well as it's used to introduce product image by designer, due to it can affect the audiences'physiology and psychology synthetically.The point of departure on this text is to discuss a cognitive style on people understanding the image about product's texture. Also be to pay attention to the image study on the basis of cellphone's surface material. There're 3 aspects on main purpose, they areTo discuss user's preference and expression on product's texture imageTo discuss the relation between texture image and integral product imageTo discuss the cause of being and influence factor about product texture imageOn the basis of diagnosis, concerning the part of"user's expression on product's texture image", hereby summarizes 21 couples of adjectives. They are, Unique and Ordinary; Coarse and Delicate; Soft and Flinty and so on. Then bring these words correspond with the typical samples of cellphone texture one by one. It provides designers the more intuitionistic info. what customers cognize texture image. Meanwhile, according to the different customer's lifestyles, to divide persons who are tested into 5 different groups, they are stableness, practicality, conservative, enthusiasm and self.
