The development of housing and the development of residenceenvironment are always the focus of people's attention. Especially sincethe opening up and reform, our province have been promoting thehousing construction with the center of economical housing constructionto improve the housing investment and consuming environment and putforward the rapid development of real estate industry. During the 10th fiveyear plan, 10 million square meters of built-up area is completed eachyear in the town areas in our province. By the end of the 10th five yearplan, the average built-up area will have reached 25 square meters foreach person in the town areas (compared to 8.1 square meters in 1995 and9.3 in 2000). The rapidly development of housing construction will ofcourse cause great pressure on the energy saving and consume reducingin our province. In the fifth session of the 10th People's Congress of ourprovince, Governor Yu Youjun in 2006 announced that all the tasks hadbeen accomplished except the energy saving task. which is a serious problem.Shanxi is the cold area according to the classification of the architectureheat supply design, and its average temperature ranges from -7.2℃to-1.1℃in the winter. The heat supply lasts 150 days in the winter, so theheat supply and warm keeping is a basic requirement for the housingdesign, and meanwhile the major problem in the housing energy savingdesign. With the development of our living standard, people'srequirement of the conformability of the housing has increased, and hotproof in the summer has become a tendency. We can improve the housinginner environment by reasonable architecture design to reduce the use ofair conditioning. According to the calculation, in most areas of ShanxiProvince we can use less air conditioning or even without airconditioning to get the ideal housing inner effect. At the present marketconditions, The government brings whose macro-control effect into playsufficiently, works out related policy regarding building energyconservation law and regulation,the government departments, architecturedesign units, real estate explorer and the housing buyers restrict eachother to assure the achievement of the target of housing energyconservation.This essay, based on various documents, researches and practice,firstly illustrates the necessity and urgency of the housing energyconservation, analyses the development situation of Shanxi Province's real estate, the composition of housing energy, the factors that affectsenergy conservation and the social and economic interests of housingenergy conservation. Secondly, it calculates overall heat transfercoefficient building envelope of the protecting surroundings structure in aresidence of Taiyuan City which reaches 50% of the energy conservationstandard required in the 'Civil Housing Energy Efficiency DesignStandards of Shanxi Province'(DBJ04-216-2006),measures the noisedegree of four residence in Taiyuan City, discuss the influence of soundinsulation towards housing energy efficiency, calculates the amount ofsound insulation of eight different window and wall compound structure,analyses the influence of window seams towards housing energyconservation. Finally, it summarizes the measures of housing energyefficiency, which include the energy saving in residence plan, outerstructure energy efficiency and the use of new materials and technologiesin energy efficiency.
