The Dynamic Research On Housing Patterns In Taiyuan

Housing pattern refers to the behavior way of housing life in a certain period of time. The connotation of housing changes with the development of society and improvement of living standard. It is a continuous dynamic process which adapts to needs of society and families. As the carrier of living space ,residential buildings are the reflections of housing patterns in different times. Therefore, residential buildings always adapt to people's changeable needs with the changeable construction forms and spatial images, which shows the time characteristics and dynamic of housing pattern.The basic content of this essay, which mainly deals with residential building and their forms , is the dynamic research into housing patterns . It excavates the potential relationships between changes of residential buildings and housing patterns through review of traditional forms and analysis of present situations in residential buildings of Taiyuan. Based on those it also predicts the future housing patterns and their trends .With the research method of discipline overlapping ,the essay reviews the housing patterns and residential forms in different periods from the view of history, analyzes the present situation and relationships between class and housing patterns from the view of sociology and discusses the existing problems from the view of architectural design .Furthermore, with the research method of contrast it compares the central courtyards in Taiyuan with those in the Northeast and Southwest area in Shanxi concerning with the traditional housing patterns so as to show the local characteristics of housing.The dynamic research on housing patterns reveals the relationships between development and residential forms. It also offers author's prediction on trends of native residential buildings in Taiyuan. Through compiling of survey and analysis on present situation of real estate in Taiyuan. it is aimed to direct architectural design and to provide the reference for the government to make relevant policies in order that industry of real estate can develop rationally and scientifically.
