The glasses cleaning machine is necessary equipment in glasses production. Washing large-area glasses with curved face is one of the unresolved problems in the current glasses-cleaning technologies. This research work is the design on electrical control system of the glasses cleaning machine which washes large-area glasses with curved face. The purpose of the design is to realize the automatic and manual process controls of cleaning, blow-drying and rotating, display measured data real-timely and control the equipment by means of HMI (Human Machine Interface). The main research works of this paper are as follows:First, the components and configuration of the glasses cleaning machine were introduced. The work processes of the machine were analyzed. The control requirements for those processes were decided.Secondly, the general project of electrical control system of the machine was designed according to the requirements mentioned above. It include the design of electrical principle scheme, the design of driving and measuring systems, connections between PLC and HMI, and the design of AC timing system etc.Thirdly, the hardware and software of the electrical control system were designed. The hardware design mainly include the calculation and selection of electrical components, the selection and parameter design of frequency changer, and the selection of soft-starter, PLC and touch screen. The software designs include design of PLC program, touch screen software.Finally, the electrical control system were installed and tested. The experiments and running verified that the requirements of the glasses washing machine can be satisfied.In this paper, PLC was adopted to collect measured data, and to control the production process, and the touch screen was used to monitor and control. The purpose that the glasses cleaning machine washes large-area glasses with a curved face according to the requirements of production technology was achieved. The quality of glasses washing and production efficiency were improved, and the energy consumption was reduced. The actual running showed that the machine has the performances of highly automation, safety, and friendly HMI. |
