We can improve many properties of cement concrete pavement by adding polymer into common Portland cement concrete, such as waterproof property, drive comfortable property, transforming property, mechanism behavior. We can also lessen the thickness of cement concrete pavement, decrease the amount of cement, save water, prevent pavement from breaking by adding polymer into common Portland cement concrete. This paper masters the research situations and the new development of this field according to a lot of document. It studies the principle of modified cement concrete. This paper researches the highway pavement structural property of polymer cement concrete by constructing a part of test road. It also analyses the cost in life circle of PCC pavement and the future of PCC pavement. The main contents and results are as follows:1.The mechanics behavior is systematically studied such as working property,flexural strength, splitting strength, flexible coefficient.2.We can lessen the thickness of cement concrete pavement up to 8cm, having noeffect on the using of the highway.3.It is successful to build a part of test road, By using one year later, the test road isstill have good structural properties.4.The method to calculate the thickness of PCC pavement is the same as commonPortland cement concrete pavement(σpr+σtr,=(0.95-1.03) fr).5.The cost in life circle of PCC pavement is less than common Portland cement concrete pavement.
