There exists some gap between the construction engineering quality of our country and that of the advanced countries because of historical reason. This paper studies the issue by analyzing the present studies of quality control in the course of engineering construction at home and abroad.It clarifies that using 5S is a good method to make good the present engineering quality control measures of our country in concrete engineering construction quality control of high buildings by analyzing a weak point in the example of concrete construction quality control of high buildings.According to the present quality management mode of our building business, the paper analyses and illustrates the relationship between 5S method and ISO9000 standard as well as overall quality management, pointing out 5S is a technique and method to carry out ISO9000 standard and overall quality management, and 5S method is also the first key step to carry out overall quality management. Then, it combines the system and method of concrete engineering construction process quality control as well as the construction site management, putting forward the method and detailed procedure of using 5S method during the course of the engineering construction of high buildings.It analyses the relationship between 5S method and concrete construction reliability process management, demonstrating that 5S method provides the corresponding technical support to concrete construction reliability process management.According to the principle mathematical statistics and the results of three groups of 5S activities, the paper demonstrates the qualified coefficient and standard difference of 5S illustration of reliability calculation method of 5S activities during the course of construction of some business, it proves that this calculation method can be used in carrying out quality reliability control, thus bringing about the reliability control of concrete engineering quality during the course of high building construction.This paper provides a remedial method for concrete engineering quality control of construction business, making a set of detailed procedures to carry out the method which can be used for construction business. Thus it provides corresponding theoretical basis and technical support for putting into practice 5S method in construction business of our country.
