The seepage numerical analysis of hydraulic engineering is beaoming more and more maturer by the development of computer technology.The seepage analysis in rock mass should be considered by ont only researchers and disigners,but also builder,yet there has not a all-purpose software.So developing a software,which is logical,comprehensible,manipulative and can be applied to analyse the seepage questions in hydraulic engineerings,has a very wide foreground.On the basis of seepage numerical analysis software Visual Seepage Analysis1.0 developed by He Meng,following the elementary thoughts and fundamentals of software engineering,the development of seepage numerical analysis software Visual Seepage Analysis1.1 has been proceeded by Visual Basic and Fortran Mixed-language programming.Recent years,the fracture network seepage model is catching researchers' eyes more and more,because of its according with the fact and credible results.But the demerit is that the workload will increase with amounts of the fracture.Presently,the numerical calculation in fracture network can be accomplished absolutely by calculational programms,but the achievement of connected fracture networks is a multifarious manual process,so how to realize computer process becomes the question need to be resolved imminently.In the paper,the programs programmed by Visual Basic,are applied to read graphics files, the computer process and automatic generation are accomplished by traversal algorithms of graphics.The main researches as follows:1,The computer process,automatic generation and numbering of the simulated fracture network graphics have been achieved,then the information of the nodes and elems have been saved,too.All of them can provide exact datas with the further seepage analysis and coupled calculation.2,The visualization shell programs of the seepage analysis programs were completed,and the optimization calculation,which programmed by the improve genetic algorithmare added to the software,perfecting the 2-D coupling analysis of seepage field-stress field and numerical analysis of steady and unsteady seepage in fracture network.3,The visualization of calculation datas,the interface between Visual Basic and surfer are accomplished,and the contour maps can be drawn automatically,too.4,The document information generated by preprocess can be read by general dialogs in Visual Basic,which combined with the print,can be used to realize flexibly the format transformation,iIntegration and save of the files.The thoery and thoed are applied to practical engineering,according to the geometry elements of geological structure in the dan site,faracture network system can be created by Monte-Carlo method,then the the output information of the nodes and elems would be disposed, and the results can be applied directly to the seepage numerical analysis in fracture network by steady and unsteady flow.At last,the practicability of software is validated by applying to the practical engineering.
