Development Of A Wireless Load Control Terminal Unit Based On ARM9

In recent years, with the rapid growing of economy of China, the energy problem becomes the most important bottleneck problem of development. From the view of optimizing resource, Power Demand Side Management is one of the necessary subjects of this program. It is not only needs advanced equipments which are high-capacity, high-parameters and low-consume, but also needs all kinds of terminal for measurement and control of power system, wireless power load control terminal unit is such kinds of equipments. It is widely used in any places of power management system by State Grid Corporation of China. Being based upon these backgrounds, this dissertation designed a new type of wireless load control terminal unit using ARM9.The terminal uses ARM9 core chip-S3C2410 as CPU made by Samsung. It is acknowledged that this processor holds great processing ability, many kinds of external interface, high cost performance, and transplantable operating system. This chip is especially adapted to design all kinds of new instruments. On the other hand, the system has been considered EMI solution due to complicated PCB. It is also settled the interference in the circuit. In addition, the terminal is using 8.4 inch touchable LCD as input-output equipment, it can make system more visible and friendly. The terminal installs Microsoft Windows CE.net as the embedded operating system, using software for database management and analysis of maximum demand indicator, all the data of electric power system will be automatically test and control by software. The software is opened as dialog box, so that anybody who is familiar with Microsoft operating system will easily use this system.Proved by the evidence of practice, the whole system can be run at any circumstance. It can take well of the data traffic, the transfer stipulations of an agreement, the system alarm, and the query of data. All the prospective function has achieved the target.
