The urban rail transport have many characteristics, such as large, fast, saving space, protecting environment and comfortable and so on, that have got more and more extensive application in our country. Look the city that has already implemented traffic engineering construction of urban rail, urban rail transport is usually laid along the urban main road, so its construction needs to take up the resources of the road, and the construct area are distributed as band which will have negative effect that the traffic engineering construction of urban rail caused is more serious than signal click.The line No.2 of Xi'an urban rail is the backbone line of network. Recently, it will build a line that is from north passenger station to WeiQu, the total length is 26.302km and there are 21 stations together completely. The project plans to go into operation in the second half of 2007, and build up to business by 2011. The line locate in city central axis and is the most important traffic pass way of Xi'an from north to south, undertaking double function on the regional traffic and the traffic inside of the city. Because construction needs to surround and take up highway section and crossing, once putting into operation, it will produce the influence that can't be ignored to the traffic for along the line and peripheral road and even some regional road of whole city. In order to minimize the impact of traffic engineering construction of the urban rail on city traffic as much as possible and arrange the process rationally, this text takes the Line No.2 of Xi'an urban rail as an example, study on construction method of the project, analyze the project implement influence for the urban resident goes out or in and the traffic above-ground, use the traffic capacity, service level to analyze the theory synthetically, adopt the nature and the quantitative tactics that combine together to analyze and research the influence degree of the traffic construction of urban rail for the traffic above-ground, on this basis, using traffic planning, traffic design and traffic control and management theory method synthetically, take the schemes of traffic management and organization while constructing, to ensure urbanite daily goes out and guarantee no congestion and security of the road traffic.
