Field service and management system is a demand side-based,non-real time data acqusition and analysis system, using modern digital communication technology,computer technology,energy metering technology and power marketing technology. It is a power market-supporting system of demand side based on power load management system, which is much more customer-oriented. It is the natural choice to solve the contradictions of power supply and demand, improve energy efficiency and realize power marketing modernization.This paper first introduces the concept and development course of field service and management system.And then with the actual situation of Hangzhou Power Bureau, we deeply analyze the basic function of the field management system: remote metering, load control, alarm, and so on. Based on data from a remote meter-reading the user's monthly billing is used. It increases the efficiency of the recovery of the tariff and reduces the risk. On the basis of the load control, we analyze the new form of electricity and orderly work by the relevant processes. Field service and management system's common types of electricity unusual warning principles are described, combined with the actual processes analyzed.Finally, according to the phenomenon of the current power shortage of power grids in some areas, using the characteristics of excessive and continuous data, we use the cluster-analysis methods to cluster users in some areas and compare with the traditional industry classification. For bottlenecks in power grid construction and planning, it provides an effective method to research area electricity users load mode.
