Dangerous chemicals transportation demand and volume are increasing each year with Shandong economy fast development and consumption level enhancement, Besides transportation volume rising, the kind of dangerous chemicals is becoming more and more varied and the character of hazardous freight is becoming more and more complicated and the degree of hazard is becoming more and more high. Dangerous chemicals Transportation of these massive flammable, explosive, corrosive and radioactive substances nationwide forms a flowing dangerous source, which doubles the harmfulness and increases the difficulty of transportation. The dangerous chemicals transportation security situation is becoming more and more severe. In recent years, dangerous chemicals transportation accident occurred frequently in our country and the harm degree is becoming more and more serious. A small negligence often makes the pollution accident erupt suddenly which creates heavy loss to the environment and the people's life and property, at the same time quite big toxicity and corrosiveness will exist in short time. Shandong has increased the management degree of dangerous chemicals transportation gradually.In recent years, the accidents on road transport of dangerous chemicals(RTDC) were on the rise, it did great harm to us and now the RTDC safety Problem was becoming the one that people commonly Paid attention to .As current research findings about it limited at qualitative analysis, the paper laid more emphasis on the safety assessment index system and made safety assessment on it. For the road transport safety status of dangerous chemicals in and abroad, described the need of their risk assessment, studied the general situation of risk assessment in and abroad, and comparative analysis the various risk assessment methods. By introducing the characteristics of hazardous chemicals, through studying educed the road transport accident characteristics of the hazardous chemicals in Shandong Province, started with the influencing factors of dangerous chemicals in the road transport, analysis the factors of dangerous chemicals that causes the accident in the transport easily, and discussed the causes of the accident. From the perspective of systems engineering analyzed the cause of the accident in the road transport, in the light of the evaluation system established principle, established all aspects of the comprehensive evaluation system and risk evaluation system of dangerous chemicals of road transport in Shandong, G1 analysis used to determine the weights of evaluation indicators and the quantification. Based on fuzzy math theory, the comprehensive evaluation model of hazardous chemicals of road transport safety in Shandong Province is established, and with dangerous chemicals examples of the road transport in Shandong Province to analysis, prove that the studies for the evaluation system and model have great practical value.
