The Research & Design Of Ship Power Station Based On Network Control

With the electronic information technology at the extensive application of the shipbuilding industry,automation of ship power station would be improved eagerly. The ship power station based on control network is one of modern marine power stations,and the control network is the core of control system.This paper presents and demonstrates two types of control network solutions.The one is a single structure of PROFIBUS-DP network which referred to as S7-300 network.In the S7-300 network. the S7-300 PLC is a master station,the three simultaneous protection devices PPU which respectively control three generating units as slave stations.The other one is a single structure of MODBUS network which referred to as S7-200 network.In the S7-200 network,the S7-200 PLC is a master station,the three simultaneous protection devices which respectively control three generating units as slave stations.Two control networks are stable,reliable and applicable to different occasions respectively.S7-300 network can be used for high-power plant in large vessels.S7-200 network is best suitable for trainning system of marine power station.In this paper,the control logic designing of ship power station is analyzed in-depth,and a set of general automation control logic for ship power plant,which implemented by the control network is preaented.In the control network,the slave station PPU which communicates with the master station,controls synchronization for voltage vector of generator,and closing of main switch,and regulation of frequency. and relevant datas monitoring.The master PLC which responsible for management of the control network and implementation of control logic to run automatically is a programmable device.Control circuit which is a carder for control network,together with control network to constitute a ship power plant control system.In this paper,the design and principle of control circuits for generator,synchronous protection,control power circuits,and measurement circuits are discussed deeply. The function of control system for ship power plant based on control network includes:according to Changes of power load,generators can be started,input and separated,heavy-duty automatic asking,fault alarm and automatic processing, displaying operation status,monitoring and modifying of given parameters.The ship power station based on control nework which Performance reliable and Cost-effective perfect is an achievement in scientific research of Marine Automation and Intelligent Laboratory in Dalian Maritime University.In this paper,as the center of the project of Marine Automation and Intelligent Laboratory,the research and design of marine power station based on control network is discussed in detail.
