At present,most steel structure viaducts we researched are the connection of two districts,and support the weight of vehicles.But the coal-conveyer-gallery studied in this article is a kind of special industrial structure.It connects product line of coal mine and other plants.It plays very important role in the whole production process.If it damages,it will lead to the paralysis of the entire system.However,there are very few researches on the anti-earthquake capability,reliability appraisal,repair and maintenance reinforcement about the coal-conveyer-gallery.It may make trestle unsafe in the actual design.On the other hand,it is an earthquake active phase now,so,the seismic analysis of the coal-conveyer-gallery is meaningful and its conclusion may be referenced by design.In this paper,the main research is made up of the following several parts:1.The damages and their causes of the coal-conveyer-gallery under earthquake are summarized.Then the truss trestle structure analysis method and the evolution of the seismic design method are described.The article introduces two widespread analytic methods,that is response spectrum method and the temporal analytic method.And their advantages and shortages were compared.2.SAP2000,a finite element software,in which the spatial Frame element is adapted to establish coal-conveyer-gallery model,are used to get the mechanical analysis of the structure.The conclusion is that the lateral stiffness of coal-conveyer-gallery is weaker and its natural period is shorter than that of longitudes.3.This article does the response spectrum analysis for the coal-conveyer-gallery by the Mode Superposition Method,it designs three kinds of conditions and contrasts them, the conclusion shows us that the influence to the structure from vertical earthquake wave and the wind load can not be neglected when doing the seismic analysis. 4.The paper makes dynamic time-history analysis to the coal conveyer gallery by the transient analysis method,analyze the structure's responses under three conditions when input the El-Centro wave,and has further confirmed the conclusion which was obtained from the response spectrum analysis.5.It can be found out that the result of response spectrum analysis is larger than the time history analysis's.And the results satisfy the code requirement.6.In this paper,it has established a span model with the support and used the time -history analysis method to analyze the seismic response.The conclusion is that the destruction generally occurred in support's top and the bottom,so they should be strengthen in the seismic design.The above analysis makes us more comprehensive understand the anti- earthquake capability of coal-conveyer-gallery and can provide the reference to it.
