A new design of intelligent power measuring system was proposed in this paper. The new design is base on the analysis of the current situation of power measuring system, the needs of distribution automation in our country and the international and domestic TTU research. The intelligent power measuring system is based on the idea of model, the design has superiority on price, precision and reliability. STC89C51 was used as controlling core and high accuracy, multifunctional three-phase energy metering ATT7022B as data collecting core. The system design consists three circuit board,which can efficiently implement isolate strong and weak signal, and can effectively improve noise immunity. The module adopts the RS-485 communication interface and ModBus-RTU communication protocol, through the configuration software, the personal computer can achieve the goal of remote monitoring of on-off.This paper developed MCU software,serial communication protocol and host computer control system, completed performance measured. This systems is operated in the good communicated, low-pressure system and the operation is in a good way. It is very stable and the working voltage's range is broad. The monitoring software's function are all-side, its operation is simple, the human machine interaction interface is good. It achieved the anticipated designment requirements.
