First the roles of fast de-excitation for synchronous generator is defined in the paper,a concept of AC-DC de-excitation is put forward,and arguments on the related documents and applications abroad and home was introduced.Then the principle and operating conditions of AC-DC de-excitation was analysed,and the simulation test was described.For de-excitation in AC side,the effective measures to carry out and the methods to realize was gived in the paper further,the effects of inverting to the de-excitation both at AC & DC sides was analysed,and the simulation test was described.Advantages and disadvantages between the DC de-excitation and the AC de-excitation was discused in the paper also,finally,a concept of DC-AC redundancy de-excitation and its operating principle was conducted,its operating conditions and its advantages was analysed.
