The important departments and electric equipments need more and more high quality power supply,but the utility power is stained strictly by harmonics which many electronic components and nonlinear loads bring on.The conflict is quite evident.In recent years the researches for high performance PWM inverter are taken more attention.This thesis used a mature model of single-phase voltage source PWM inverter to realize controller of inverter.We have carried out preliminary research on systematic function partition,hardware algorithm,whole systematic hardware design and optimization,pipeline technology,etc.Firstly,we have carried out the hardware algorithm/control unit.And then, structure and the feature of FPGA device have been introduced.We have analyzed the selecting principle and specifications of FPGA,as well as the related develop environment and tool.Then we systematically elaborated the design methodology of FPGA design,and the development process of using the Quartusâ…¡.On this foundation,the hardware algorithm of DDS standard sine wave generator and digital phase-lock loop(DPLL) have beed studied.We have completed the modular design.The principle of SPWM technique is introduced and the digitization of natural sampling based SPWM is discussed,In these situation,we design a new method of SPWM with FPGA based on natural sampling,named digital natural sampling. SPWM wave can be obtained through digital sine wave modulating carrier wave. This is the ultimate principle of digital sampling.The carrier wave frequency is 10kHz and modulate wave frequency is 1-60Hz can be modulated.The continuous and discrete mathematical models of a single-phase voltage source PWM inverter are established,the design method based on pole-assignment is used for design of inverter voltage and current dual-loop controller.At the same time, simulation and experimental have been given,which indicates that inverter systems provides fast dynamic response and nice static characteristics.The high speed advantage of FPGA's operation is made hard to demonstrate for the inconsequence in structural arrangement.The pipeline technology had well solved this problem.We presents a new pipeline optimization design of the inverter controller.Analyzed the design process in detail and offered a kind of thought for the people who devoted to FPGA's application in power electronic field.The simulative and experimental results verified the correctness.
