Study On The Planning Of The Rural Settlement System

The paper investigated the rural settlements system from the perspective of planning and integrated the theories and methods of geography,planning and systems science.The writer managed to do a series of exploratory research about planning of rural settlements system and explored the development laws of the rural settlements system.The paper researched the space complexity,self-organizing mechanisms,effects of spatial structure and the impact factors in the process of the evolution of rural settlements.The research also explored the questions and planning dynamics of current rural settlements and carried out empirical research on Xugu town of Xinzhou and made planning guidance and control measures lastly.The results are as follows:Firstly,The writer discussed the research background,significance,and make the proposed research thinking and method on the basis of carrying out a comprehensive study of the rural settlements system at home and abroad.Secondly,this part analysis the evolution process of rural settlements from the agricultural civilization era through industrial civilization era to ecological civilization era from the main concept of the villages.The paper also do a dialectical analysis about the concept of rural settlements system,rural settlements are the core of the rural settlements system,the carriers of various forms of spatial residents acts are the form of spatial association.The rural settlements system is the basis of inhabitable environment components.Further pointed out the rural settlement system planning origins,the meaning of planning and planning connotation.Thirdly,the rural settlement system is decomposed into physical eologic base, networking of the building environment and the social cultural environment.Three constitutions are interlinked and mutually affect and constitutes an organic whole.This part carry out the relevant form of research on the rural settlement system of Xizhou which was impacted by the three major constitutions.Fourthly,the rural settlements system is both a kind of periphery space and open space in the process of urbanization.The rural settlement system of Xinzhou have problems such as lack of reasonable planning,hollow villages phenomenon,settlements in a small scale,large number of functions are not completed,land waste is still serious in some towns and villages,environmental quality issues.It need a rational planning to promote these issues get resolved.Fifthly,on the purpose of optimizating the rural inhabitable environment,the writer present guides and control countermeasures besed on the view of "Easy Living" point and paying attention to protection of history and culture,combined with "rural communities" concept of development,guides and control countermeasures were maked from different angles such as government,rural residents,urban and rural co-ordinated.Sixthly,the writer did exploratory planning on the rural settlement system of Xugu town of Xinzhou,there are great significance in both theory and practice for local government and administrators.
