The continued strengthening of requirements for construction energy-saving and the continuous improvement of the living environment promote energy-saving technologies of the construction to flourish. Application of building energy-saving technologies is a major sign of a living environment quality evaluation.China is a big country of Energy consumption, and ranks second in the world. In total energy consumption, the building energy consumption accounts for 30% ~ 40%. Through the insulation envelope can effectively slow down the heat loss of buildings to achieve energy-saving. Therefore, building energy conservation is important for the healthy and rapid development of China's economy ,and it can change the energy relative shortage .Approaching the wall energy-saving of the residential, this paper conductes an in-depth follow-up investigation at the scene. On this basis, applying a combination method of tests and computer simulation the paper study analyses residential insulation measures of the wall in Xi'an. In order to explore more effective ways of saving, Using of Tsinghua University DeST-h developed simulation software,this paper analyses the significant difference of its indoor thermal environment between the use of energy-efficient building envelope of residential structures and non-residential use of energy-saving technologies, and proposes energy-saving programs of the residential building envelope for Xi'an area.This paper calculates the consumption of heat energy before and after and economic evaluation of existing buildings and quantifies residential energy-saving effect of the wall. Simulation of DeST-h software shows that the wall insulation layer thickness of 70mm is the best economy thickness to achieve the requirements of the wall insulation. In the same thickness of insulation layer, the extruded polystyrene board (XPS) is the best thermal insulation material in variety of insulation materials commonly, and it has optimal cost-effective.The results show that this transformation program is superior to the existing energy-saving measures of Xi'an ,which can greatly increase energy efficiency .And this can provide a theoretical basis for finding reliable technology of the wall thermal insulation and promote the development of residential building energy efficiency in Xi'an .
