On May 12,2008,an earthquake measured 8.0 Richter scale hit Wenchuan County of SW China.This earthquake has caused more than 80,000 people's death and nearly 1,000 billion yuan's direct economic losses. This shows very clearly that the earthquake is one of the worst natural disasters the human facing.Ensuring high reliability of high-rise building structures is a key task of structural design,and one of the main impacts on the reliability of the high-rise building is that the earthquake.Short-pier shear wall structure due to having the advantages of both the framework structure and the general shear wall structure,that is,the merits of the application and beautility including do not exposing the column and beam,having free-space distribution,and so on,so is being widely used in civilian high-rise building.The application and theoretical research for short-pier shear wall is not more than 20 years.So far,theories of the study and the results relating to short-pier shear wall are still insufficient.It is precisely because the theory is not mature enough,so related norms have more restrictions on short-pier shear wall,which have adverse effects on application of short-pier shear wall.As the infilled wall belongs to non-structural components,it is not generally considered direct when the structural designing.Through the establishment of the shear wall structure model considering infilled wall,the use of vibration mode decomposition response spectrum method and large-scale & general-purpose finite element software ANSYS,emphasizes that construction's natural periods of vibration and the story drift angle has being affected by the infilled wall,and founds the infilled wall has played a positive role on the shear wall structure,that is to say,its the anti-seismic capability has been greatly enhanced.At the same time,the uneven distribution of the infilled wall will have an adverse impact on local,and therefore the place where have no infilled wall should be strengthened.Almost no reinforced in the infilled wall,its tensile capacity is very weak, so it is proposed to strengthen the structure measures when the surrounding bound can restrict the infilled walls well to better assist the shear walls,and other anti-seismic components,and reduce the infilled wall without good binding to make it difficult to crack when there is no good bound aroud it.Through analysis,the value range of Period Time Deduction Factor in the relevant norms should be error, which has violated its original purpose.In this article,a discussion has been done,and a proposal has been given.When the filled walls are distributed regularly in the regular short-pier shear wall structure, 1.0 can be chosen as the Period Time Deduction Factor.
