Virtual manufacturing is an advanced technique in manufacturing, virtual assembly technology has become the focus of the study as part of virtual manufacturing. The traditional aircraft assembly is worked by hand according to assembly process order. When the assembly interference, collision or other issues happens, we need to find out the reasons and modify the model in the manufacturing even the design department of part or assembly part of product or frock. This will not only extend the period of aircraft manufacturing, but also be difficult to grasp quality. The traditional aircraft assembly is difficult to meet the requirements of the development of aircraft assembly today, the aircraft virtual assembly has been more and more important. This article includes aircraft assembly process using DELMIA, at one time its assembly process has been verified and optimized to be a more reasonable assembly process. And it includes horizontal tail assembly process real-time simulation using DELMIA, workers achieve the installation of horizontal tail. It makes the job tedious that the movement of workers needs to create some additional constraints. In order to solve this problem, track trajectory movement is programmed using of DELMIA software Automation secondary development. This significance of paper studies mainly provide reference for the simulation of a light aircraft; it play an important in aviation, aerospace, automotive and ship industries adequate and effective; it is interesting in exploring the DELMIA software; Tracking the foreign advanced virtual design technology, making beneficial exploration from theoretical research to practical application for the virtual assembly technology.
