As the ship pitch propeller propulsion system can more obviously increase the marine propulsion efficiency, more flexibly deal with all kind of working conditions and more effectively prolong the use-life of the diesel engine, it has been widely used in various all kind of ships. It is significant to study various properties of diesel-pitch propeller and its control system by building its mathematical model.Simulation means to reasonably simplify and summarize the true system (physical) on maintaining the real nature of its basic physical characteristics of the premise. This paper based on the use of capacity, experience and test the formula and the experimental data correction build the model of the 6M601C middle speed four stroke diesel engine, the model can response the dynamic and steady nature of the system simulation, and experiment proves the method is effective.The paper Uses RBF neural network fit curve of thrust coefficient and torque coefficient controlled by pitch and the process factor of ship, in order to get the function generator of pitch propeller torque coefficient and thrust coefficient. And build the model of the controllable pitch propeller,hydraulic servo. system and the control system of the controllable pitch propeller.The author systematically studies joint control of diesel engines-CPP (engine propeller), which used in a wide range. It analyzes the engine speed-propeller pitch matching problem aiming to reducing fuel consumption. It gets the highest propeller efficiency curve by "atlas method". Combined with the relevant chart, it analyzes the influence of fuel oil consumption rate on fuel oil consumption quantity. Through the analysis of automatic load-control mode, it aims to solve the problem of load setting in integrated control model. Furthermore, it also gives the method to avoid and reduce random disturbance such as wave and so on which might cause the engine-propeller mismatching.The simulation system of marine main diesel propulsion plant controllable pitch propeller can be applied to analyze and predict as well as design the dynamic characteristics under the unsteady state of the main diesel propulsion plant system, it can provide the basal simulated environment for the design and optimization of the controllable pitch propeller propulsion plant and its control system, and provide the reference for developing pitch propeller which is a part of the marine simulator.
