Seismic Design Of Gasification Factory Of High-rise Steel Structure With Fluid Viscous Dampers

The coal gasification highrise plant play a very important role in the coal gasification project. Generally, The coal gasification highrise plant use the upper part of steel and reinforced concrete structure of the lower frame structure, Which the characteristics of the lateral stiffness is small and a large horizontal displacement. In order to meet the horizontal displacement, engineering designer must increasing the section size of component,so the section size of the structure is great and the weight is very big in this plant.In order to use high-rise steel structure take place of this the coal gasification highrise plant of upper part of steel and reinforced concrete structure of the lower. The paper use the structure of energy dissipation system,to study the seismic design of gasification high-rise steel structure with fluid viscous dampers. Firstly, summarized the calculation method of the structure which is installed dampers,analysised how to determined the parameter of damper,according to do an example to explain the simplified calculation method of the structure which is installed dampers. Secondly,use the thought of lower one degree of seismic fortification intensity and use of dampers to resist this earthquake.Consider the combination of dead load and wind load and earthquake action,conduct the section checking of beam and column, by selecting a suitable a damping ratio, to make the structure meet the requirements of the seismic fortification intensity is 8,and selected suitable dampers. Finally,using ANSYS made a model, to do the time-history analysis.The result show that this gasification high-rise steel structure with fluid viscous dampers can meet the requirements of the performance of seismic. The results can be reference and use for designers.
