As a key component of Visual Communication, graphics is a manifestation of thought and culture which record the course of development of human civilization, history and culture of traditional visual manifestations. Chinese traditional graphic is a manifestation unique charm of Chinese culture, is the crystallization and an important part of Chinese culture and is also the expression of Chinese aesthetic concept and sprit, it develops with the development of Chinese social civilization and the history. As the essence of Chinese traditional graphics, Tai Chi graphics is the perfect integration of Chinese philosophy, aesthetics and traditional concept, the symbol of the wisdom of Chinese ancestors, and is also one of the intangible heritages which Chinese traditional culture left for the world and the pride of Chinese nation.With development of the world market, people pay more attention to product packaging design, product packaging design is the means for the product to achieve its value, and is a comprehensive subject with the dual attributes of marketability and artistic. The form and meaning of Tai Chi graphic circle and the S-shaped curve in Tai Chi graphic and the design philosophy in Taoism on "Imitation of Nature", "Heaven and Man", in the application of product packaging design open up a new ground for Chinese-style products, and make up the basis for Chinese-style product packaging design. Today, with the development of the highly competitive environment, the form and methods of modern product packaging design should combine the traditional culture with modern graphics to make the product packaging design have more nationalism and more modern. With the integration of global economic and art, there are some blind "Westernization" designs. Using excellent graphic symbol to design Chinese-style packaging is the inevitable trend of product packaging design in the future. Inheriting and innovating Chinese traditional graphics and ensuring its nationalism and originality, can make the product packaging design with stronger vitality and built bridge for the fusion of Chinese traditional packaging design and modern design. The concept of Tai Chi principles "Imitation of Nature," "Heaven and Man" in the product packaging design should be further inherited and developed, the design concept of harmony design, green design and design concept based on nature will be the most significant trends for product packaging design in the future.
